Warranty

All of our products are supplied with the manufacturer's full warranty against material or manufacturing defects which may occur through use only. Smaller CTEK consumer chargers now come with a 5 year manufacturer's warranty and larger trade/industrial units a 2 year warranty.

In the event of a customer deciding to reject any of the goods sold by us we abide the terms outlined in the Sale of Goods Act 1979 (as amended) which states the customer agrees to return the item to the supplier, in accordance with Section 36. We reserve our right to inspect and test any product returned to us in this manner, allowing us to confirm that any fault is not due to damage or neglect to the product in question, prior to the process of any refund. Please note, shortening or modification of pre-assembled cabling constitutes usage contrary to manufacturer's instructions and will render all warranty and statutory liability void.

Returns

Before you may return any product to us you must first request a Returns Authorisation Number (RAN) via email (see the contact us page). Product(s) returned without authorisation or after a RAN has expired may be refused upon arrival or subjected to a handling charge which you will have to pay in order to get your goods back.

We guarantee to refund any item you are not completely happy with when you return it to us in saleable condition within 28 days of receipt of the product. Refunds will be credited to your original method of payment once the product has been received and inspected by us.

Order Cancellation

In accordance with The Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013, you may choose to cancel an order within 14 days. Please note however, that you will be liable for the cost of returning the Product to us, we ask that all products are handled with reasonable care (ie. in as new condition). Any products that are returned and we do not consider to be in a new condition may be subject to a handling charge.

If for whatever reason we are unable to successfully deliver an order, perhaps due to inaccurate address details provided by the customer, unreasonably restricted access at delivery address or customer cancellation after despatch but prior to delivery, we reserve our right to deduct costs incurred in recovering goods from any subsequent refund.

Order Acceptance

By completing and submitting the electronic order form on our websigte you are making an offer to purchase goods which, if accepted by us, will result in a binding contract. Upon completion of the online order process, you will be sent an acknowledgement of order listing your Products and Order Status. This acknowledgement of order confirms our receipt of your offer to purchase only and does not indicate our acceptance of the order.

Waste Electrical and Electrical Equipment Regulations

The Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment (WEEE) Directive has no been made UK law. This legislation aims to make producers pay for the collection, treatment and recovery of waste electrical equipment. The regulations also mean that suppliers of equipment like high street shops and internet retailers must allow consumers to return their waste equipment free of charge.

East Coast Signs Ltd has been achieving far beyond this policy for many years now and will continue to obliged under these regulations to offer our customers free take-back of their WEEE on a like-for-like basis when they buy a new Electrical or Electronic product from us.
